Deployment Sizing

Described below are the minimum requirements for a successful installation of an eSign Server in a containerized environment.

Minimum Requirements

  • vCPU: 1000m

  • RAM: 1Gi

  • Instances: 2

Sizing must be adapted based on the type of usage in your specific use cases.

Sizing Estimate

eSign requirements grow with the number of documents opened in an instance at the same time.

An "opened" document is a document the is being presented to the user via eSign’s document viewer.

You can use the following formula to estimate the RAM requirements for your use case:

RAM per instance = 256MB + ((docs_num x avg_doc_size x 2) / instance_num)

  • docs_num: Maximum number of documents opened at the same time

  • avg_doc_size: Average size of the PDF documents sent to eSign (in MB)

  • instance_num: Number of eSign instances
